The Jorge Amado House Foundation contains a Study and Research Center that is responsible for storing, organizing and preserving the writer's library as well as collecting and handling written documentation, periodicals, photographs, videos and computerized support materials. This Center assists researchers and scholars, supports research and produces original studies on Jorge Amado in particular and Bahian culture in general.
